On Wednesday 22nd February we are holding a 'mini pots of care' day. For a donation of £1 the children can wear non-uniform that includes an item that is yellow. All money raised will be sent to Marie Curie. The children also need to bring their daffodils back to school for the day (whatever state they are in!), so we can compare the results and talk about the charity's work.

A massive thanks to all those parents who helped raise money for Children in Need on Friday.
Without your support we'd never have managed to raise the whopping £117!
Congratulations on a really successful first event. We look forward to running more events in the future.

Welcome back to all our parents and website followers. We have been lucky to have some lovely weather to start the new year but today the wind is blowing hard and this means that the children are very excitable. The new heating system is almost finished but we are awaiting the final stage regarding the computer set up. Let's hope that we do not have cold weather before they come back to finish. The work began back in March and they have been working non stop since then including all through the summer holiday. We will now have hot water throughout the school and a much more efficient, quieter system for everyone. We continue to have our special roast days where parents and relatives can join their children. Today it is roast beef. Next week it will be on Wendesday because we have a theatre company visiting on the Thursday. Please remember that you must call in by Monday of the week you hope to join us, at the latest, to let us know you want a meal. Our after school group, The Lion's Den, has started and they are quite full on several days. There are still places so please call in to the office if you want more information. We had a very enjoyable Harvest Supper last Friday evening. All the staff and a large number of families joined us. Bellini once again entertained not only the children but the adults as well. We will be posting photos on the events part as soon as I can get them there. Our next event will be our Autumn sale which will take place on Saturday November 12th starting at 12 noon and finishing at 3 p.m. There will be lots of crafts and things to buy as well as refreshment so please do come along.
