Welcome back to the Nursery for both existing and new parents and children.

Last week was a very short week for us and was spent settling back into our routines and welcoming Riley, Toby and Samuel to the Little Monkeys. On Friday Mrs Harvey and Mr Ditton reminded the older children of our class rules and introduced them to our new children. A copy of the booklet was put into the new children's book bags so we hope you will find this useful.

Our topic for this term is 'Bears' and we have already started by looking at Michael Rosen's 'We're going on a Bear Hunt'. It was lovely to discover that some of the children were already familiar with the book and were able to join in while we were reading it. During this half term we will be looking at lots of bear books including 'Peace at Last' 'Goldilocks and the three bears' and 'Whatever Next'. We will be thinking about teddy bears, grizzly bears, pandas and polar bears. Our topic plan is displayed on the welcome board just inside the classroom door so please feel free to have a look.

We have booked to go to Hollow Tree Farm at Semer on Tuesday 12th June. As last year we will be inviting one adult to accompany each child. Confirmation of the details and cost will be available during the first half of the Summer Term.
