Special mentions this week go to:

Thomas for coming back to school with his brain switched on ready to learn.

Tommy for being on task ALL the time.

Finally a whole class mention for putting up with a smelly room!

We have started to look at explanation texts in literacy. By the end of the unit we hope to have created our own information book on a range of subjects.

In Numeracy we are continuing to look at weight, length and capacity.

In PE this week we are making our own wake and shake video. I have drawn ‘inspiration’ from this video.

We will be practicing it in school and filming it on Thursday’s PE lesson ready for wake and shake next week. (And we are obviously much better than these ladies.)

The Christmas play has been sorted and we are eagerly practicing all of the lovely songs. 5 weeks left until the big performance!

Curious has also returned. He had run away because the children were scaring him but luckily William bumped into him in Portugal and convinced him into coming back home to Bat class. He also met a friend out Paulo (he is a parsnip). He came back a very happy carrot so let us try to not upset him again.
